If your eye/eyes are squeezing shut and you can't control it, it's called blepharospasms. It's treated by Botox injections. See either a neuro-ophthalmologist or an oculoplastic specialist. Good luck!

My sister worked at an eye doctors office and they said the more your eyes water the dryer they are.. Sound's werid to me too, but that's what they said....If you think it's more a mental thing, maybe you should see someone, but I'd say try visen first.

maybe your just tired? that always happens to me when i'm sleepy.
if not try washing your eyes with cool water

i have that problem sometimes but i have bad vision. try eyedrops

one time, after pleasing myself, i had a slight accident that exploded right into my eye. after that, it felt like my eyes had been glued shut. Since then, my vision just hasnt been the same. I think my lil' swimmers might still be swimmin. Is this what happened to you too?

Its true, your eyes water a lot because the surface of the eye gets very dry so your body starts to OVER produce tears to compensate for how dry they are, thats when you get the feeling that your eyes are wet, or for some people it even makes them look like they are crying.

One of the best ways to help reduce that is artificial tears at least 2-3 times a day, Tears such as Systane or Optive are good because they are a little thicker than the average tear which helps it stay on the eye longer.

Another good thing to do, is before you go to bed at night, wash your face and then after use a warm moist compress on your eyes for 5-10 min every night to help open up the oil glands on your eye lids so that they are able to function properly.
