Problem with contacts?!

Question: this is my 5th day wearing contacs and I can't relly see with them. I don't have problem putting them in and taking them out, And i feel comfortable with them. My eyes don't get dry, but I just can't see very well. I know that am am NOT putting them in the wrong way so that can't be it. I also know that they are the right prescription because i can see if i stare at something for a few seconds. And i don't get headaches. But then why do I see blury. It's like when I wake up in the morning before I wash my eyes....you know how you can't see very well. it kinda feels like that.

Go back to your doctor and get them checked again. Maybe you need a different prescription, or try a different kind of lens. I know that contact lens come in increments, so while your glasses can be made exactly for your prescription, contacts aren't as exact. So maybe you were between two contact prescriptions, and your doctor gave you the weaker one and the stronger might work better.

I feel like my contacts are a little off for this reason. It's even worse for my left eye because that one has an astigmatism and Toric lenses come in even fewer increments than regular contacts.

It sounds like u havent got the right prescription. When was the last time u had an eye test?
If i were you id go back to your opticians, they may need to book u in for an eye test to check the prescription is right.
Otherwise it sounds like ur doing everything right :)

They might be inside out, when you are putting them in, it is possible to put contacts on inside out.

Even though you just had an eye exam there still could be a little tweaking that the Dr. needs to do. It is quite common. Also, some people can't see as well out of some of the contact materials. Ask you Dr. to switch you to a contact made out of a different material.

I had the same problem, even though I had the correct perscription. Ask for Acuvue Oasis lenses. They're great, and I can't notice them.
