IF I used my glasses to start a fire, would it harm the glasses in any way?!
Question: Like, if I focused the sun's rays, would it harm the glasses? If they are plastic lenses?

nope it definitely won't. don't worry. your glasses are only refracting the rays onto a single focal point in order to heat the object up.the hottest part will be on the object, not your glasses. it may get very hot but it won't melt or anything.
No.
nope but it would be toltaly sweat if u could use glasses to light stuff on fire! i would get a pair and in the summer light my techers butt on fire! ( i realy hate her)
not at all, just don't burn poor little ants
It won't hurt the lenses; sunlight shines through them all the time when you're wearing them outside, however, if you're nearsighted, your lenses will be concave lenses, which are the wrong kind of lens to focus sunlight to make a fire. You need a convex lens to do that (maybe you can find an old pair of reading glasses).
No there wont be any damage to your lenses/
