definitely use them if your eyes are still irritated.
unless your doctor is some sort of quack and doesn't
know what he's doing, you should listen to him.

You went there for a problem...he gave you the fix...
"Dry eye" makes your eyes irritated and can eventually cause damage. Use the drops and you will feel better and help avoid future problems.
