Contact Lenses...need help?!
Question: Twice now i have been to the opticians to try and put contacts in and i cant! However now at home, without the lenses on my finger, i can easily open my eyes wide and touch the middle of my eye without any blinking! but of course there is no lense on my finger.
when i used the same technique at the opticians, with propper lense on my finger, i cant manage to do it. why is this?

LOL...it's all in your mind. With your finger, you know what it is, but the contact is a foreign object and you are just afraid of it.
It's all just mind over matter....concentration and determination.
Take a deep breath, relax, open your eye wide and just do it...it doesn't hurt at all if your lens is very moist.

You should look into getting glasses. Or try a different type of contacts.
It takes a lot of practice. Eventually it will become second nature to you. But I remember when I first got my contacts I really struggled with getting them in and out. Keep practicing. Take a break when you get frustrated.
