Ever look through a microscope and see little clear dots moving around?!

Question: i see clear dots moving around, and that is not the thing i am looking at, it looks as though they are from my eye. I have a feeling that this is the same dots that somone sees when they get knocked out and see stars, is there a relation, and what the hell are they

thanks

They are clumps of gel or cells in the vitreous (the gel inside your eyeball.) They are normal as we age and are caused when the vitreous contracts or liquefies a bit. And what you are seeing is actually the shadow of the clumps on your retina. 'Seeing stars' is a little different. If you begin to see flashes of light with an increase in floaters, you should have your vision checked by an ophthalmologist (deals with the eye and diseases of the eye), not an optometrist (who check for vision problems to prescribe glasses) as soon as possible to rule out retinal detachment.

No, you're just seeing little epithelial cells that your eye is normally shedding. We all can see them, just ignore it.

No they are called floaters. There are completely normal, especially if you have bad nearsightedness. They are normally seen when looking against a bright light background, like a clear blue sky. I have been seeing them since I was 10 years old because of my poor vision. It's important to get your eyees dilated once a year, because it could lead to retinal detachment. If you ever experience flashes of light, this is a sign of the retinal detachment and you need help immediately to avoid possible blindness.
