White dots on lower eye lid?!

Question: I wear contacts and have astigmatism. Over the last year or so I have noticed 3 or 4 small white dots in the corner of my lower eyelid ( the corner away from my tear duct ).

They don't really hurt and only cause minor discomfort when I blink if my contacts are really dry.

Has anyone ever experienced this, and if so, what is this??
Any tips on how to get rid of them?

sounds like blocked meibomian gland. this causes less oil to be secreted and thus increases evaporation of the tears. this might cause your dry eyes. the blocked glands are not related to contact lens ear but causes the dry eyes. you can try using a warm towl to press it down for five minutes probably a couple of times a day until it gets better. but this may not work for everyone.

another possibility is concretions. it is an accumulation of calciu deposits or some say inflammatory cells. it is also not due to contact lens wear. if this is really bothering you, you can always go visit a doctor or optometrist to have it excised.

is it like a little pimple or whitehead?

It's prob calcium build up, a chick at my old job had that it looked like white heads, but wasn't.
