Assuming your eyes are otherwise near average, you are going to be pretty near the minimum legal limit for driving, and glasses at least for that would be a really good idea.
If you get them for that, you can then decide how much you feel like wearing them for other things.
TV, cinema, watching live sports...would all be improved.
But that doesn't mean medically that you *have* to have them for that: it's purely your call. If you like the sharper world you get and wear your glasses all the time, that isn't medically wrong either, but then you might start to consider contacts.if you like the *vision* but aren't keen on the *glasses*.
This is a script for glasses, not contacts, if you want contacts, you need a separate prescription. This seems to be a relatively low script which you may not need to wear al thie time depending on your optometrist's advice, however glasses would help when watching tv, at the movies or watching sport.
