My Mom used to have that problem.
1. Try holding your eye lid open with two fingers (make sure your hands are clean) one at the top one at the bottom.
2. Using your other hand look up place the contact on the white of your eye and slowly move it in to place.

It takes some getting used to because your natural reaction when things are coming toward your eye is to blink so you have to learn to control the urge to blink.

Hopes this helps!!!

You'll eventually get used to it. Just don't think about it so much -- don't be afraid of it.

Look toward your nose and put them in on the white part of the eye closest to your ear. The white part (sclera) has no nerve endings and cannot feel. Then slide it over onto your iris.

Its not that hard once you get used to it. Just make sure your looking up teh whole time.. Once you do dont shut your eye yet. You actually have to put it in and move it around so it will stay ! If you put it in and blink it will come out. Give it a second to stick..

hold your lids open wih your hand and tilt your head back...look around with your lids open to ensure it stuck and you should be set...it may also work if you do the same thng but tilt your head way forward...its different for different people..good luck

First off you need to relax. Put the contact on the end of your right forefinger (or left if you're left handed) and hold your eye open with your left thumb and forefinger. Sometimes it helps if you look down while you're putting the contact in b/c you don't see your finger coming at your eye.

Hold your bottom eyelash down with your ring finger, hold your top eyelash with your middle finger, and put the lense in with the opposite index finger. You'll still blink a little, but this will make it easier.

Ok, I have been wearing contacts for about six years now and in the beginning I was so scared to put them in or take them out and I had the blinking problem as well. The first thing I was told is not to be scared to touch your eye, it isn't going anywhere. The second thing I was told is to look away from your finger. For example if you are putting in your right contact, pull down on the bottom lid with your left index finger, look left and put the contact in with the right finger putting the contact in on an angle starting on the right instead of just pressing it flat to your eye. I am not sure if I explained that well, but good luck.

Place the contact lens on the tip of your index or middle finger. With the fingers and thumb of your other hand, simultaneously pull up on your upper eyelid and down on your lower eyelid.Position the lens on your eye while looking upward or forward. Roll your eyes in a complete circle to help the lens settle, then blink. For all details, information and remedies about contacts check out http://use-contactlens.blogspot.com/
