New glasses Please Help?!
Question: Okay, so I just got glasses on thursday. If im not wearing my glasses I get a headache, so I wear them all the time. The docotor said to only wear them at school or when watching TV. Is this bad for my eyes? My perscription is really that bad. I'm near sighted.

Do what is best for you- wear them as much as you feel is needed- otherwise ask yoiur Doctor.

You're young. Your eyes haven't stabilized yet. My guess is your eye Doctor is limiting your wearing the prescription to slow down your need for stronger & stronger lenses. I don't know for sure. He/she does. Call the office, & ask them, honey.
I wear my glasses all day long, until bedtime, and have for a long time. I am also nearsighted. I don't know why your doctor would say that. I say, wear them as long as you like. Why should you be unable to see? Eventually, you may want to get contact lenses. People wear them all day long, also.
