There is something wrong with my poor eye =[?!

Question: My eye is all sorts of messed up and has been for a loooonnnngggg time, like years. It is my left eye. My left eye sometimes has this dull thuddy pain in it and then it like... goes cross eyed. Sometimes for no apperent reason it compleatley stops seeing, like if I close my right eye all is black. If I put my hand over it ( left eye ) And keep the eye open with my hand covering it it seems to straighten out but then it goes back to that dull pain and going cross eyed. Also the lid on that eye is alittle more droopy. And it normally has bad sight anyways, Im supposed to wear glasses but I am vain and dont like the way I look in them. The eye is quite painful! And I am self concous when talking to people and it gets all cross eyed.... =[

You need to see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. Your sight is nothing to mess with. Could be a problem related to a case of untreated "lazy eye" as a young child, or muscular problems within the eye which can require prism in the lens to straighten out the crossing, or any number of reasons. The fact that you said at times all you see is black would personally scare the hell out of me right into the doctors office!

how did you get a yahoo if your are bad

Wear your glasses and talk to your optometrist. Easy as that...get over how you look in glasses.....you can find nice frames for your fashion sense.

That sounds unpleasent
