Eye Floater or somehting more serious?!
Question: I have had this little spot on my eye. It looks like a vein just floting around. I dont notice it all the time but when I think about it I can see it. I have an eye doctors appointment on monday. That is a week away. This has already been here for at least a week. Is it ok to wait that long?

it should be fine. unless u see a sudden increase of floaters or even report seeing flashes of light in ur entire visual field.
if it s just one floater, it s pretty much ok as an individual ages, the gel like material in ur eye(vitreous) will start to lose it s gel like property and thus floaters can occur.
if flashes are reported, watch out! this can mean that u may have retinal detachment as the vitreous may pull on ur retinal causing it to tear and stuff. as there are no pain receptors in the retinal, the detachment will not feel painful but it will come in the form of flashes.
moreover i think u can be quite safe unless there is a sudden increase in floaters and etc
yes...don't be alarmed.! You are gonna be fine. At least you made an appt..which is alot more than I can say for a lot of people on this site!!
good for you. Many times these things that abrupt in the eye go away in a month or two..
I have had this before myself............it went away
