Really scared, am i going blind?!

Question: A few days ago I suddenly started having a lot of trouble seeing out of my right eye. It's kind of like when you wake up in the morning and you have to blink your eyes a few times to make them focus, but my right eye won't. It's just completely blurry. I can see out of it but its almost as if there is something fuzzy on my eyeball. I already wear glasses and my vision is pretty bad, but with corrective lenses, I normally can see 20 /20. The earliest I can get into my eye doctor is later this week, but I am really scared that this is something that isn't going to be able to be fixed. Does anyone have any idea at all what is going on? Please help me ease my worry.

I wish I could tell you definitively what was going on - I can't. What I can do is strongly advise you to contact your primary physician (regular doctor) or your eye doctor and demand an appointment ASAP. Any drastic visual changes (ones that impair vision or cause severe pain) should never be dismissed by you or your doctor. So, take your healthcare in your hands and demand to be seen tomorrow. If not, go to an urgent care center or walk-in clinic. It could be something as simple as allergies or serious enough to cause permanent damage. Good luck!

I doubt your going blind, but maybe there's something seriously wrong with your right eye though. Contact a doctor and see what's wrong with it. Sometimes its a reaction with light, or things that may irratate your eyes.

the best thing to do is go to an optomitrist if u cant get there fast enough there is websites that allow u to email doctors and ask them questions or u can go to medhelp.com

do not worry! you wont go blind. my dad has that and all he does is have to take eye drops or his vision will get worse

Well, you'll see what's going on when you tell your doctor at your appointment.
