That is a bifocal prescription to begin with.

And it was written by an Ophthalmologist because of the + 1.00 on the right eye..the Opthalmologists use the + cyl form

The right eye, once it is converted into a useable form to be made would be

+ 1.75 - 1.00 X 93...and a + 1.00 on the left...

Then + 1.25 is added to that for the reading, your bifocal power...so in the reading part you would have + 3.00 - 1.00 X 93 and + 2.25 on the left

You are Hyperopic in both eyes ,a lot more on the right, which means the image you see wants to focus ( theoretically) behind your retina, so that power shortens the length of the light ray entering your eye, to make the image appear in focus on your retina.

You also have some astigmatism in your right eye, which can be compared to fine tuning so the image will be sharp in all directions.

You definately need them for close work, but will probably get along fine lots of times without them for distance, because you left eye will be doing all the work.

I hope that's what you wanted to know...

ur very slightly shortsighted

I would go to a pharmacist or an eyeglass specialist, because even if you know what that means it won't help you.

why didn't you ask your doctor? why Would you choose yahoo answers to answer this question. Are you serious?

that's pretty confusing...

so, if +0.75 (right eye) +1.00 (left eye) is your prescription, then you're mildly farsighted.

I might be wrong though. I think you should ask your eye doctor.

This means that you are mildly farsighted. The first number is how much correction you need to make 20/20. a +.75 is only a mild prescription. The second (number +1.00 X 003) means that you have astigmatsim +1 corrected at 003 axis.
