yes u will definitely get used to it. i had glasses from kindergarten all the way to sixth grade and when i got contacts, i hated the way i looked because i looked so different. then i got used to it after a month. now im in high school and i love not wearing glasses.

you look different now because u can see face structures that your glasses were hiding with the frames. dont worry about it, u'll get used to it :]

Lenses change the way your eyes look if the prescription is strong.

I am not sure but i can only give you ideals of what I think. I think because you wore the glasses for so long it make you look a lit different because that is what you is use to by now on the other hand yes I do think you will get use to not wearing your glasses once you get use to the contact give it a couple of weeks and you should look like your normal self don't worry you have nothing to worry about.

you're just used to seeing yourself with glasses and having them
i've been wearing glasses since i was six now im sixteen
now i have contacts and at first it felt so weird.

dont worry you'll get used to it =]

It's kind of like the phantom arm thing, you know, once you lose it you will always feel it. But unlike this, the glasses on your face, took awhile to take, and much less important than losing an arm, but your face get's used to it, you get used to it, but by that time, you've forgotten about it, and once you take them off, you have to get used to the whole thing again, and when you do, and when your friends get used to it, it's all over they have to renew themselves to your new face. Your brain is trying to tell your eyes to get used to it, the new look.
