What are these weird lights when I poke my eye?!

Question: You're disrupting your vitreous.
Vitreous is the the "jelly" in your eye between the front/cornea and the back/retina. When you push your eye the vitreous detaches and causes "flashes". You can also get something called "Floaters" ... Have you ever thought you could see "germs" or little moving bubbles after staring at the sun? That's your vitreous.

Fireworks.
They are button activated and by pushing your eye you set them off.
Enjoy the show. :)

it's a good question, but here's a better one. why the hell would someone poke his eye?

i think tose lights are the pulses of light from the surrounding

well the same thing happens to me whenever I rub my eye, I never really payed attention, but I guess it squeezes the eye juice which causes your retina to go haywire

well there your lights in your brain from the monkeys going haywire

the pressure caused by your pock on the eye lead to pressure on the retina irregularly which provoke nerve cells in turn perceive the stimulation as in all forms as you have described
