I have really dry eyes. I wear Acuvue advance contacts that I change everyday and I still feel like they are drying out. I use either Clear eyes for contacts or Opti-care rewetting drops. You can get them at any drug store. Good luck and Congrats on the new contacts!

there is visine for contacts. that's what i use.

Any eye drops should work fine.. However, I wear Acuvue Advance contacts as well, and I don't even think my contacts have ever felt dry.. Hmm, maybe thats just me :) But anyways, try "clear eyes"..

First if you take them out every night, like I do, then they won't get dry. But just so happen if you don't have the time to take them out then you should carry around some re-wetting drops. But whatever you do, do not put the opti-free solution in your eyes!! It will burn really bad. Just make sure that you are prepared for anything. I carry around an extra contact, my case with solution in it, some re-wetting drops, and some extra solution. You should just take them out every night to avoid the dryness. Number 1 answer here!! lol

opti-free is good, its basicly saline solution i believe

Oh god, don't use the solution. It's for removing protein build-up on the lenses; it will barely do anything to moisturize the contacts, and will likely just sting your eyes instead.

Lubricating Drops are widely available in all pharmacies, and wherever anything contact lens-related is sold. Buy a few bottles (they're small) and always keep one on you. Bausch&Lomb is a great company for anything like that.

My doc gave me bausch and lomb re-wetting drops. Just make sure it's compatible with your hydrophyllic lenses.

In a pinch, you can use your cleaning solution.

BTW, I've put the opti-free disinfecting solution in my eyes, and it didn't sting whatsoever.. as it's all over your contacs when you put them in, it's not supposed to sting! Granted, it doesn't keep your eyes wet forever! If your dry-eye issue continues after a week or so (frequently) I would ask your opt. If you need to rub your lenses, or if you need a different kind of solution, lense, or drops.

(PS... aren't contacts freakin' AWESOME!!)

there are tiny eye drop bottles for your contacts. You almost need to carry one all the time just in case you happen to be at a dry/filty enviroment. Do not pour the cleaning solution directly on your contacts while still wearing them. Each contact cleaning solution brand should have its own eye drop.

Dont use the solutiona s the eye drop. use refresh plus eye drop, they are great
