Light perception help out!!??!

Question: What happens is that whenever I'm in a room with artificial light the perception of the light in my eyes changes. I see or perceive the light bright and then after a little while the intensity changes and I see the light less brighter, after a little it changes back to bright and so on back and forth. Does anyone have a clue of what this might be?

This sounds like a retinal problem. Judging from the information that you provided, it could be a vitamin A deficiency.

The BEST course of action you can take is to go to a qualified OPHTHALMOLOGIST for a complete and proper examination and whatever diagnostics he/she might require.

Your electricity isn't "browning out" is it?

Do you have high blood pressure? Maybe you should ask your physician.

It sounds like you might be photophobic (sensitive to light) especially the artifical lights in buildings. I would see either an optician or possibly your GP (however your GP might just advise you to see an optician) It might be that you need to wear tinted lenses even when you're indoors to prevent your eyes from straining. I work in an opticians and often have to advise photophobic patients on lenses that would be suitable for them but the majority of the time a lightly tinted lens works best.
