If you have veins in your cornea you are in MAJOR trouble! I think you are confused in regard to the structures of the eye. The blood vessels you see throughout the white part of the eye are in the CONJUNCTIVA not the cornea. The cornea (the very front part of the eye) is avascular (has no blood vessels) because it must be totally clear in order to allow light to pass through.

There is quite a large variance from person to person in regard to the prominence of conjunctival vessels. Just look at different peoples forearms. Some men have very prominent surface vessels that stand out and other men have hardly noticeable blood vessels. Chance are this is mostly related to just how you are made or the drugs the doctors prescribed would have helped (i.e. allergy drops etc.) Sorry but this is probably just the way you are.

Corneas are very delicate. There are some signs that lead to them being irritated. If you're stressed and don't get enough sleep, that makes blood go to them more. So, sleep more and don't stay so late at your job if you can help it!

sleep
no contacts
no dry eyes

i use Visine very frequently
i both reccomend it and i don't
it gfets the red out yes
but if you use it habitually like i do, your eyes become dependent on the stuff [like mine]
