I had that problem @ first too but after a bit I got better. 10 yrs later I can even pop them in for other people lol. Here's how I do it....
I put the contact on the tip of my middle finger. then with my other finger (man i dont know what its called but the one closer to the pink) lol...with that finger i pull the down on my lower eyelid. then look a bit downward while looking in the mirror so your pupil goes up. Then with ur middle finger gentle place the contact right on the while of your eye. Once its stuck to the white part of your eye look down and the contact will get stuck to your pupil. If it doesnt stick exactly the right way you can move you eye around and it will stick and if that still doesnt work, if the contact is still semi stuck to your eye you can close your eye and gently rub your eyelid. You'll be able to feel it once its on properly. I've never really had to rub my eye though it usually sticks when I look down. Just try not to blink...best way to not blink is to no try to put the contact right on your pupil or else your eye will automatically try to close to protect itself.

Hope that helps.

When you put the contact in try to press the top half in first or pat it a little after its in before you blink. You don't have to touch it much, just lightly press a little extra bit when you put it in.

Not sure if you are getting them in, then they come out when you blink , or if they are folding before you get them in because they touch your HUGE lashes....

After they are in,, keep holding your upper lid open, release the bottom lid, and roll your eye downward, towards the table, then release the top lid.

If it is folding before you get it in, then you will have to work at holding your lashes up out of the way with your left hand until you can get the lens in there.

Don't worry...you will learn the best technique soon, and it will get a lot easier. Another week and you will be a pro !

i started wearing contacts when i was 12 [i'm 17 now]
i had soo much trouble in the beginning too
now i can put them in and out like a pro
here's a hint for putting them in
[this is for righty's, anyways]
have the contacts on the tip of your right pointer finger
with your right middle and index finger, hold down your bottom eyelid
with your left hand, crook your arm above your head so your left hand is coming down from above your eye
use your left fingers to pull up on your top eyelid
now either look straight or look up and put the contact in
if you are looking up, look center as you close your eye
with your eye closed, blink a few times and roll your eyes around
repeat for the other eye

I have pretty long eyelashes myself, and it does make putting contacts in a little bit trickier at first. You will get better at it the more you do it though, so just be patient until you can find the technique that works best for you.

I always try to get the top part of the contact set first, then the bottom. Once it's all the way on, I just close my eye for a minute to squeeze out any bubbles, and I'm done.

You probably just need to hold your upper eyelid open a bit farther, and then make sure the contact is set well before you close your eye again.
