There really isn't an age limit to wearing contacts. There however is a maturity level. We've put contacts in children around the age of 8 before. If you and your parents think you are able to handle then make an appointment at your eye doctor. However the only thing you may think about is that there is usually a charge for the fitting fee and then you'll have to pay for contacts. Just something to think about, our fitting fee is $79 and contacts run anywhere from $23 to $300. As far as age I think you should be ok just ask how your parents feel.
the only problem with wearing contacts when your young is that your eye is still growing, and such you're gunna have to get fitted again for contacts each time you run out
but it all comes down to maturity and if you can handle it
i started wearing contacts when i was 12 [i'm 17 now]
and i haven't had too many problems
so if you think you can handle it, set up an eye appointment with your eye doctor!

more than the age limits the prescription value of the correction and a-7.00&+ 6.00are best for image perception in thios morden world for any prescription contacts issued.
i dont really think there is an age limit for contacts, but i work for an eye doctor and he usually starts the age limit around 12-13. so talk with you eye doctor and see what he/she says. =]
