Could it damage my eye vision in any way at all if...?!

Question: some kid in my school in 8th grade flicked his finger in my eye??

It was this really annoying kid who really needs to get some friends as he thinks he has so many..

Anyways, he told me to come close to him so he could "tell me a secret" on the bus, and i did, and he just flicked my eye with his finger. (the annoying part was that he didn't see anything was wrong with it; he took it as a joke and as if nothing happened)..

I know it's probably not a very big deal, but i guess it could've hit the inside of my eye very badly....

I didn't feel any pain, though; but my eye kinda stung for a while or so, but it didn't really hurt..

The thing is, he hit my right eye; and whenever i close my right eye, my left eye seems to see a bit more clearly.. it's kinda strange i guess..

So do you think it could have done any damage to my eye?

You should probably have it checked by your doctor if your right eye is blurry and can't see as well as the left one. Also, if your right eye is sorta swelling. If it is blurry, the stupid idiot who flicked you probably ruptured your cornea minorly.

Don't worry, it's not serious or anything permanent; many people rupture their cornea from various things, like one friend of mine got a ruptured cornea after someone threw a Ziploc bag at him and hit him in the eye. You'll probably just have to wear a band-aid over it to prevent infection.

If the doctor does find that you have a ruptured cornea, you should probably tell the principal and stop the guy from annoying you.

Hope your eye feels better.

This is assault !!! If you do nothing, it will get worse. See a doctor. Tell your teacher !!!! And your mom. Get help. Now.

Well I'm just going to address the eye issue. Whether you go to the principle with the issue is a moral issue that you must decide on.

If he made direct contact with the surface of your cornea or any part of your eye, he could've very well scratched it. If you are feeling no pain and there is no redness, you should be fine. I would discuss it with your parents and let them know if you have any pain in the eye so they can get you to an eye doctor to make sure there's no damage.
