How do you rinse contact lenses?!

Question: How do you rinse contact lenses?
like when i do it i hold it with my fingers and pour the solution on both sides. but i use too much. how do i do this? do i do this everytime i put my contact in? also do you have to rinse the case with water in the morning and put fresh solution at night or what? do i wash my hands with warm water and soap everytime i handle contacts?

this takes me too long, what is a good easy plan for this? put them on at night, and take them out. i know to put fresh solution in at night on the contact case every night, do i need to clean the contacts too or just put them in?

With the new solution thats multi purpose you dont need to rinse, simply soak over night and that will do it. Try using Opti-Free replenish thats a multi-purpose solution( the number one doctor recommended). Yes rinse your case everyday and put fresh solution in it everyday. And most definitly YES wash your hands everytime you go to take them out or just to touch your eyes and dry with a paper towel(this leaves less lint on your hand) and thats it!!!

Always wash your hands with soap and water before handling your contacts because your hands come in contact with all kinds of disgustingness all day long.

When I do mine, what I do is in the morning I take them out of the case, put them into my palm and squirt contact solution on them to clean them (enough so that it runs over them adn would wash out anything in them). Then I put them in my eyes and dump out the contact case and turn it upside down to dry, hanging over the unscrewed lids just slightly so it doesn't just drip into the lids. Then at night I fill the case back up and just stick them in there.

That's how I do it anyway and it's never caused any problem.

Ask your doctor for a no rub saline solution. You do have to sometimes rub them because you get protein deposits on your contacts from your eyes. As for the washing hands thing, I would do it because you don't want an eye infection. You could also put hand sanitizer on you hands, make sure you rub for at least 15 secs to kill the germs.

To rinse your contact you want to squirt multi-purpose solution on each side for 3 seconds. It may seem like you are using a lot of solution, but it is very important to do.

Please don't rinse your case with water. Water contains an amoeba that can do serious corneal damage. Rinse and clean you case with fresh multi-purpose solution every morning when you put your contacts in. Then tip your case upside down and let it air dry all day.

It may seem like this routine takes a long time, but with practice it becomes a lot easier. Keep practicing. Also, when you buy solution it always comes with detailed cleaning instructions. I would suggest that you read those. Good Luck!

I just put solution in my contact case. In the morning I wash my hands with warm water and put them in!

Just enough to cover the lenses. not really nessary for rinsing before inserting. rinse the len cases with saline or multi purpose solution. Tap water are not recommended. Can.
