Why is my eye shuddering / flickering / shaking ?!
Question: I've noticed oer the last 24 hours that y left eye (mainly upper eyelid) has shuddered, almost like a nerve twinge or a little shiver / tremble. Its not panful or anything but its annoying and hasnt gone away.
Anyone any ideas?

Because you have been studying so hard is probably the cause. There is nothing that needs to be done its just a nerve.Patients come into our office alot for that problem but there is nothing that can be done.
its just a twitch. people get them from time to time but i dont know why :S
mine does that sometimes and I think its from lack of sleep
strain from staring at PCs - take a break
lack of sleep
When that happened to me (about a month ago) a nurse told me it was caused by stress and/or your being tired. Try to relax and get some extra rest. It helped me!
probably just a muscle spasm. could be due to lack of potassium. eat a few bananas.
Yeah I get that, it's just a twitch and should go away itself, but if it doesn't go away in maybe a couple of days get it checked out x
Nervous tic; anything particulaly stressful going on? If not, it should go away soon. If so, you'll probably have longer to wait til it stops.
its just a nerve twitching... mine does that too from time to time... it'll stop eventually
it could be due to tiredness, stress or eyestrain maybe playing games too much on xbox or looking at a computer screen all day if it continues maybe you should arrange to have an eye test if you already wear glasses perhaps see your optician you may need a recent checkup
You might try getting more sleep. That fixes it for me. It is a fatigue issue, either from lack of sleep, stress or squinting. Do you wear sunglasses outside?
i had this the other week.it lasted a couple of days and is so annoying.i rang the chemist and they sais it was achemical impulse in my brain and would settle down.
