As long as you wear in your contacts then you should be fine. Our DMV allows 20/25 so you should be fine.

I drive while wearing contact lenses (-2.25) with no problem at all. Why would there be ? Much safer than wearing glasses and driving, as your peripheral vision is much better.

Presuming you have the correct prescription, there won't be a problem.

You should be fine,if you can see fine with your contacts then i'm sure you will be able to read the number plate.I also have my driving test soon and need to wear glasses for it!Without my glasses i wouldn't be able to read anything! If you cant read the number plate the first time, the examiner will then get you to move a forward a little,if you still cant read it,he will then measure the exact distance,if you still cant read it,the test will be cancelled.Im sure it wont come to that!
Good Luck with the test!

You should be just fine, as long as you wear your contacts or glasses when you take the test. If you can see well wearing either one, the driving test will be no different...don't sweat it, I'm sure you will do fine.

You should be absolutely fine providing you have the correct prescription contact lenses. I drive with contact lenses and have no problems night or day, can read road direction signs quite easily.
If you are unsure, why not test yourself by reading a number plate from the required distance in both contact lenses and glasses and see which vision you are more comfortable with.
I originally took my driving test wearing glasses and passed first time !
Good luck.....I hope you are successful !

No, it is ok. Only those people who have colour blindness.
