The floor looks like it's moving after I use the computer too long?!

Question: After I spend hours using the computer, the floor seems to be moving. It also happens when I don't sleep. Is this normal?

Yeah it happens to me too.

Every 20 or so minutes, focus on something 5-10 meters away to avoid it happening and ruining your eyes!!

Probably not. Simply don't spend hours on the computer and try to get enough sleep. Or see an optometrist, who will probably say the same sort of thing only charge you per hour.

Completely. Your eyes are simply readjusting. Ever play Guitar Hero too long...very wicked

no this isnt normal. do you take drugs whilst using the computer?

spend less time on the computer as this will keep making you dizzy and will eventually make you lose eyesight. and you will always feel sick

no it is not ,, rest and don't stand up directly after finishing your work on computer

You need to take more breaks! (From the computer, not from sleep) - get up, walk around. It may be a good idea to get your blood pressure checked too.

not really..try not to use the computer too long or else your head can grow so tired n it can cause u feeling like that..i use to have that.but since i tried to drink lots of water n sleep more i came to my normal self again lol

It's happened to me before too; I've asked a question about this as well. It seems to happen after I've been sick with a cold.
It may just be your eyes adjusting, but if it's the same thing as I have experienced in the past, it'll happen for quite some time. Many other people seem to have gone through this; I can only assume that it's just one of those things that happens to people when they get deprived of sleep!

You might unconsciously strain your eyes too much while on the pc. Go have your eyes checked because the simple solution could be some glasses just for reading on the computer(I got them, they help a lot)....

It is eye strain from the computer, being over tired will cause it as well. Try getting eye drops for it, I think Visine makes some for computer users.

Also, if you don't have one, get a anti-fatigue glare reducing screen for your monitor. This will help a lot.

Try not using the computer as much, give your eyes a break if possible. It is not that easy for me, I use a computer all day long at work.
