At what age did you first need glasses?!

I've needed them for long-sightedness since I was 15, which is 5 years. I don't mind them as mine are really comfy so I forget I've got them on.

I started to wear glasses at the age of 7 I'm almost 41 so it's a long time i don't mind wearing them and sometimes forget about them i need to wear them for everything or i wouldn't be able to see i used to wear contact lenses but when i had kids i could never find the time to get them in properly so i went back to wearing glasses
21, I had perfect vision my whole life, it sucks, I feel blind.
I've been wearing glasses since I was 2 years old. Hated them when I was growing up but I quite like them now. You get a much better choice now than you did 30 years ago. My childhood was blighted by awful NHS specs, lol.
I had glasses from when i was 11, my husband had his from when he was 3. we both wear contacts now. wearing my glasses gives me a headache now as i'm used to going without them except last thing at night and first thing in the morning!
16 for reading and close work. 3 years ago for distance, so I have 2 pairs.(am 48 now)
I was told i was long sighted when i was 12 and got glasses, lost them and never bothered with them again until i was 21. Then i went and got 2 pairs and now i never wear them either. Absolutely hate having them on. They annoy the hell out of me
Since i was 8 i hated them then and i hate them now.They hide my face and whenever i have them on instead of contacts my confidence goes..cant wait till im 26 because they said thats when i can get laser eye surgery only 3 years to go

never had them off since - feel weird if they are not on my face [tried a week of contacts a few years back]
its perfectly natural to me [i'm now 45]
since i was 3, my mum took me for an eye-test as i had a "walking into lampposts". issue.
43 for reading - still havent used them coz when I do I look over the top of them.
i wear em since im 10.i kinda hate wearing them so i don't regularly wear em lol
NEEDING GLASSES ONLY IN PRES BIOPiC AGE TO ASSIT THE NEAR VISION, other wise depending upon the refractive error you need glasses with or without astig matism is inevitable
I am 19 and do not have glasses.
My dad got glasses when he was still living in The Netherlands I think he was 10 at the time once he was on the bus and he started crying as he hated wearing them.
My best friend has glasses dont know when she got them as only met her when she was at High School she sometimes wears contact lenses though.
Since I was about 9/10. I hated them so much from the age of 16 I've worn contacts.
PS, surely if you have long-sighted vision is should have gotten better over the years? Many of my friends who've had long-sighted vision lost it by the age of 18/19.
One can need glasses at an age much younger than when u got them. Seems ur quite happy with yours. So, b happy!

I don't wear it all the time so I didn't mind getting it.
I was 4. And I tried contacts--I didn't like them, so I went back to glasses--I think the new glasses are nice, especially since they are so much more lighter in weight then they used to be when I was a kid.....I got astigmatism and need a special prisma...

i actually hated them at first-they were soooooo annoying and i kept forgeting to bring them to school with me....
but now,i like wearing them because i am used to them-they are ever sooooo comfy! i can see much,much,much better with them!
I got mine at 12. I hated them mostly because of the frame. No My vision is -8.00 and i like them. I mean the lens is light, like yours i 4get i have them and i like the frame

i needed them since elemantary school,it could be earlier though(kindergarten) but it was discovered around the first school year
well i honestly dont like it the way i look with glasses on

from what ive observed so far people can look great or even better with glasses just depends the type of eyeglasses frames your going to choose/buy
iv needed them since i was about 13 but my mum wouldn't believe me or let me get an eye test until i was about 15, i like my glasses :D
