Astigmatism to myopia?!


Question: Hi, I have astigmatism and I wear glasses only to wacht the TV, read, study... and I would like to know if it is possible it becomes a myopia.

Your astigmatism won't change, and become myopia instead, if that is what you are asking.

They are 2 different conditions entirely.

There is always the possibility that you may become myopic as well as astigmatic , it all depends on changes that may or may not occur within your eyes.

naturally the astigmatism co-exist with myopia or hypermetropia not alone, condition of refractive error--people suffering from astig matism with myopia after the age of 38 years and age and age progress because of presbiopia the myopia slowly reduces and small astig matism ignored,and the astigmatism does not lead to myopia.

No, it is not possible.
