What does it mean if when you wear glasses you get motion sickness?!
Question: i have never been able to wear glasses because of the feeling on my nose made me feel physically sick... and i do need to wear glasses.i tried contacts but they hurt my eyes too much. what does this mean?

You prone to motion sickness and are a little iritated by thesensation of the glasses.
Also the pressure of the glasses on you nose may be inhibiting your oxygen intake.
When you feel nauseous, take deep breaths, and take the glasses off. ^_^
I would suggest you pick out a drilled rimless frame with polycarbonate lenses. This will be the lightest pair of glasses you can get. The motion sickness feeling is probably the type of correction you have and your not wearing them enough to get adjusted to them. Perhaps your other glasses were improperly adjusted on your nose to create this discomfort. There are some hacks out there that don't know the first thing about properly adjusting glasses. The glasses are not affecting your breathing unless they are so tight they are crushing the bone that makes up the bridge of your nose.
I would be very interested in your rx. It sounds like you have a correction that you are not tolerating. The optometrist may need to back off the rx and slowly (every 6 months) increase your correction. There is also the fit problem, but if you have never been able to wear them, that would not be correct. Many drs just refract and do not listen to the history. YOU PAY THEM. Go back, express your feelings and if you don't get the right answer, try another dr.
