I've got under eye dark circles, how do i get rid of them?!

Question: I'm sleeping, eating enough. and i'm not tired, i'm on break. but it's been like that for the past 2 years. so when it started i used nivea eye cream, it really helped and went away but then after 3, 4 months (i was still using the cream daily) it came back. i bought another eye cream from this brand (doctor li) but it didn't help at all. i still use dark circle eye cream daily but it just wont go away.
i don't wear glasses, but i do wear contacts. what is up with the raccoon eyes? HELP PPL!!!

Dark circles can treated with regular and gentle care.Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in luke warm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes or dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes. may sound strange but I have heard that Preperation H works for that. No, seriously

haven't you tried seeing a dermatologist for this? because they would know better than trying over the counter creams. i work in an international hospital here in bangkok and they do all sorts of beauty enhancements. we have a treatment here called phonophoresis. it helps remove dark circles under or around the eyes. it's effective after a couple of sessions. :)

ok.........................well first...............

-Establish whether or not this condition runs in the family.

-Identify allergens. Allergies may be the most common cause of skin discoloration and puffiness under the eyes

-Get plenty of sleep nightly

-Treat your skin while you sleep.Just before you go to bed, take a washcloth and wet it just a bit with cold water. Then squeeze out any excess water and place it over your eyes as you sleep.

-Apply cool tea bags, an ice cube wrapped in soft cloth, or cucumber slices to your eyes daily

-Wash your face with cool to somewhat cold water in the morning or when puffiness occurs. The cold water will cause blood vessels to constrict, and thus reduces swelling

-Apply an eye cream containing vitamin K and retinol. Dark circles may be caused by a deficiency of vitamin K

-Avoid rubbing your eyes.

-Eat a healthy, balanced diet and drink plenty of water

-
Cover the problem up with cosmetics.

hope this helps!!=]
