Leave your eyelashes in place. Try frequent 20 minute warm compresses to the lid. Use something that stays hot -hand warmers, uncooked rice in a sock heated in a microwave, etc... rather than a hot washcloth. This will initially make the stye appear more red )because of the heat) but the stye should resolve in a day or so. Good luck!
I went once as a kid and got no medicine but a neighbor got a Neosporin optical cream. It is a bit wicked, but when I get one I use a sterile tweezer and pull out all lashes in the area. Yes it hurts like H and you cry a bit , but it is always gone in the morning and lashes are back in 2 days.
A sty is a bacteria infection. Try placing a little of honey on it. Sounds fishy but honey will cure a cold sore in your mouth and since it's a similar type bacteria, it should cure a sty.
