They don't hurt. Why would they hurt? Daily disposable ones are the best ones.
If you are meaning coloured ones or anything, they will feel slightly uncomfortable. But, prescription contact lenses will not hurt or feel uncomfortable!! I wear monthly disposable lenses, everyday for most of the day, and they do not hurt my eyes! You need to go to the opticians and get your eyes checked up!
If wearing contacts you should have a check at the opticians every six months to ensure that the contacts arent damaging your eyes. this is covered in your price for the contacts

You are wrong in saying that they all hurt. If they are hurting you, they are not the right kind. I recently changed to o2 optix, and the are the best I've ever worn. I can't tell they are even there.

your optician should be able to recommend the best! i dont know where youre from but most contacts made from a high percentage of water are most comfortable because you can hardly (if at all) feel them. they are so much better than glasses!

OK make sure you get soft contacts not hard ones. The brand that i really like is O 2 Optix they dont cause any irritation and you can sleep with them in but make sure you don't do that to often. It is really important to clean your contacts everyday and change at least every 2 to 3 weeks.

I had trouble with contact lenses burning at the end of the day. Acuvue Oasys are the ones i find most comfortable. But everybody's eyes are different. If you don't like the contacts you are prescribed, tell your eye doctor. I worked with my eye doctor very closely to find the most workable contacts for me.

There are two types of contact lenses, soft and rigid or hard. Your optometrist will tell you which provides the best vision, and then guide you through fitting either comfortably. The soft lenses can't really be felt - apart from the lid sensation you get when you blink, and rigid lenses don't hurt when they are fit properly. Rigid lenses give you more of a sensation of something in your eye - but it isn't painful, merely noticeable. I'd suggest you ring around to eye doctors in your area and find who is offering a free trial - where you can sit in their office with a lens on for a few minutes, before paying for lenses and full fittings.

depends really .. i have htem for a year now maby a bit more .... they dont hurt anyway unless you dont wash your hands or put them in when ther dirty ... but once you do what your meant to they wont hurt .... the best ones to get depends on your eye my eye specialist told me not to get the non disposable ones there to hard on eye
if your gonna wear them alot( 4-7) days a week monlty disposable ( i have them there grand u get 6 months supply at a time )
if your only gonna wear them an odd time then daily disposable ones
