Target optical question?!

Question: I have been going to Lenscrafters but now they don't take my insurance. Target is one of my choices. This is the thing...I have a really high prescription and astigmatism. So I have a special kind of contact lens that I wear and like to get my glasses as THIN as they can make them. Do you think that Target is comparable to Lenscrafters? I hope so because I want to use my insurance.

Thanks!

Funny that one takes it and one doesn't seeing as Lenscrafters and Target are owned by the same company, Luxottica. As far as the glasses go, choose the smallest frame that suits your face. This will help reduce the thickness and also use high-index lenses or polycarbonate. Both will give you thinner lighter lenses, but polycarbonate will give you the best impact resistance if you are active. I suppose target will do just as well, but it all boils down to the knowledge and skill of the person fitting your glasses. See if there are any smaller private offices that also take your insurance. you might do better.
