Glasses vs contacts question?!

Question: Is it common to see better with glasses than contacts? I have a really high prescription with an astigmatism. There are only a few types of contacts that I can even wear. Lately they are so dry and kinda blurry, even though they're fairly new. I wore my glasses today and everything was so much more crisp and clear. If only they could come up with better looking lenses for high prescriptions. The high index or polycarbonate doesn't really cut it.

Where do you live? There should be many places you can go to get some eyeglasses, that are more attractive. Check some of the designer eyeglass stores. And let the professionals pick you out a pair that will compliment you looks.

Glasses vs Contact, I'd say both. I love to wear contact lense, and I equally like wearing glasses now, it is a totally different experience.

When I decided to wear contacs, my doctor also suggested that I only where my contacts a few hours a day. And where my eyeglasses the rest of the day. So, you should always have a spare pair of up to date eyeglasses.

I have noticed a similar thing, when my eyes are tired, for what ever reason, my contacts get blurry, and then the glasses seem better. Usually after a day or so without the contacts it is fine, or a good night sleep.

hang in there, your eyes are irritated and they are supposed to be, the irritation causes the eyes to increase the tear production, wear your contacts for short periods to get used to them, you will love your contacts after you and your eyes get used to them
