Question: I am nearsighted....i wear glasses...but i really hate wearing them! i look like a nerd! i juzt want to ask, if i wear glasses, will this cure me?? Do you know anything that can help me cure this??Im 13 years old......Tnx

Sorry love, there is no way of curing your eyes. I am near sighted also, and i wear contacts because i also hate glasses. When you are older, around 18 or 21 (i forget the age cut off) you can get laser eye surgery which will correct your vision so u wouldnt need glasses or contacts. It sounds like a big painful surgery, but it isnt. It doesnt hurt at all and it only takes about an hour or less. You will be walking out of the doctors as soon as its over.
I am also sure you dont look like a nerd in your glasses, there are a lot of people who wear them, and that sterotype of being a geek has totally died. Just do whatever is comfortable for you.
You can maybe get contact lenses before long, or laser surgery in a few years, but that is all that you can do.
There is no way to " cure" your eyes.
If there was a way, millions of people wouldn't be stuck wearing glasses and contacts .
That is just the way your eyes are changing on the inside , nothing can be done about it....sorry.
