Should a person go to an important job interview if they have an irritated, red !

Question: Are you talking about red & irritated because of allergies? An allergy eye drop should help lessen your symptoms and you can go to the interview without worries.

However, if your eye is RED, red, and won't stop tearing up and weeping, you've likely got Pink Eye and you should see a doctor as well as COVER the eye for the interview. Use a simple eye patch for the 30 minutes to and hour that you'll be in the interview and explain what someone else said earlier - you're under a doctor's care.

I hope it's just allergies - much less miserable than Pink Eye. And I hope you get the job!!

:-)

Sure, why not? Especially if it is an IMPORTANT interview. You could call and see if you could reschedule, but if you show up, you can explain that you have an eye irritation that is being treated by a doctor. NO big deal.

No its kinda gross and the person interviewing you will pay more attention to that then you...if its that bad. They might think its contagious or something stupid like that.

nope bt shall give the reason

Yes of course. You could try to make a little joke about it at some point in the interview. It might lighten the mood a little.

sure, it will show them that you mean business that not even an irritated eye will keep you from your commitments.

i think you should just tell them you might not be able to start right away... and just dont be messin with you eye while your in the interview

If it's not swollen, go get some RohtoV and that'll clear it up real quick.

Yes I think you should. Especially if it really means a lot to you.

You can always buy Visine or something that can make your eye less red and possibly even lessen the irritation (depending on the type of Visine)

I don't see why not. Unless you look like you have pink eye or something equally yucky looking. But if it's just a little red and irritated then just mention it and say you have seasonal allergies or something.
