Shoud i get monthly contacts?!

Question: Okay. I got contacts about 7 months ago. I actually went to the Walmarts optomotrist and he suggested O2Optix. I really dont like these lenses. One reason is that there are cheaper brands out there, Another is that somtimes id find there is a scratch or tear in the contact and i cant wear that one. Or it would feel so uncomfortable, id have to take it out and get a new one. Anyway, In about 3 weeks, im going to need to get more contacts. I only wear them for school and i got about 2 1/2 months left. So my questions are - 1) Should i get monthly contacts this time? Arent they more cheaper in the long run?
2) What is a good cleaning solution to get rid of the buildup? I heard clear care does a good job but they're expensive. 3) Where could i get my contacts that are cheap online? Walmart are average prices and online seem cheaper. But i want to see if there are cheaper prices online. Thanks

If you cannot adjust to O2Optix then go back to the Optomitrist and ask for different ones. Cooper vision are a good brand. A more costly brand is Focus Night and Day ($62/box) but they are more breathable monthly lens. It probably costs about 20-40 more a year. not bad.

A good solution for build up is Renu. Use it daily to clean lens and is also used for storing overnight.

Online pricing vs walmart is usually about the same. Sometimes Wal-Mart is cheaper.

Good Luck!

ok, I think you should have coopers vision contacts, they are cheap and you throw them away every month.

hmm.. I've worn contacts for 6 months and I'm pretty sure i use the same brand as you. I never had any of those problems though. You might have an stigma.
I use opti-max refresh solution you can get at drug mart for 6 dollars for the big bottle.
I get the kind that you have to change every two months or so. But....

Good Luck w/your prblem!
