Getting contacts is like getting glasses, you have to see an eye doctor who gives you a perscption. Contacts are not one size fits all. He has to check the size of your eye, figure out what the perscpition as they are different from glasses. figure out what brand would be best for you, etc. It's not just case of walking in and walking out. He shows you how to put then in, which is not as easy as you think, and finally you are ready to go.

Nope. You'll have to do an eye exam. I think some Walmarts have a private room for that. They're around $100's to do where I live. Then they will tell you how blind you are and what your perscription is. Some may use your glasses perscription, but they're not supposed to. Contacts and glasses are different.

No. Go to your eye doctor and they will test your eyesight and measure your eye. Then, when they order them and the lenses come in, you will have an appointment to try them out and learn the correct way to use them. If you succeed, you will most likely be able to go home wearing them. When I went to this appointment, I was more worried about taking them out rather than putting them in. Taking them out is extremely simple though. Good luck!

You will have to do an eye exam and all that in order to get your correct prescription, but you won't need to get your eyes sized or anything haha. But other then that they can just sell them to you. You can't just walk in and pick them off the shelf though, if that was your question.

hey
well, you need to first GO to an optometrist. they can prescribe you contacts, and all the fun stuff.
