Lots of question, Hi, because you are getting contact lens that are cosmetic, you don't have to get your eyes checked, but I would suggest you do. Every since cosmetic contact lens have been made available for sale over the counter and on line, it has been easier for the average person to purchase contact lens. But as I said, it is better to go to a doctor and get your eyes examined etc., so that you can get the proper fit, look, brand, and instructions for wearing and care.

No you won't get eye cancer from on line bought contact, what you can get is contacts that are not the correct fit, color, size, and the lack of care and fit instructions, may cause future problems with your eyes later.

Lastly the best way to tell what color you should get again is to go into a optometrist office etc, and try on sample pairs in different colors, and ask the representative which colors are best for your skin type. Keep in mind, no matter what they say you can still choose a color you like, appose to the one the pick out for you. Just get the right fit, and a color that will compliment you. Now you will be beautiful in a new way.

You have to have an exam to measure the curvature of your eyes. It does not matter whether you need them for cosmetic reasons or for vision. Failing to do so will put you at risk for the contacts slipping on your eyes. If you decide to get them, try Green or Hazel. You won't get eye cancer, but you could risk eye irritation or infection from non-prescription lenses.
