How much is glasses lense?!
Question: im not talking about contact lenses, i have a frame that's about 200 dollars and i just need to buy the real lenses for my eyes, and i have perscription , how much are lenses? just the lenses, and can they be made of plastic or glasses only? i heard the lenses can be plastic, which one is better and why

Plastic is better. Glass is very scratch resistant but is a safety hazard. It shatters when impacted and can be a huge liability....not to mention, that it is the only lens that takes upwards of 3 weeks to order and is twice as expensive as it used to be. The lens of choice nowadays is polycarbonate.However, it has a huge amount of distortion compared to a conventional lens. If you can find a good deal on a high definition trivex lens .....that would be your best bet. It's scratch resistant and is virtually unbreakable. Plus, it gives you the best visual acuity of any lens.
it depends on the prescription,the shape of the lense etc.plastic lenses are much lighter.
There are many lens materials available. There is a large range in prices. Go see an optometrist or optician you trust; who will listen to how you will use your glasses and make a proper recommendation. If you get the wrong product, it doesn't matter how much you saved. If you get the right product that gives you the clearest most comfortable vision for your taskes, you will not mind the price.
my lenses were 30 bucks due to my eyesight (its not THAT bad) and my frames were $240.
the prices are really up to you. if you don;t want to spend much, don't get the nice expensive frames.
