I lost my contacts for 16 hours!?!
Question: I lost my contacts for 16 hours, it was still a little moist and wrinkly. Will I ever be able to wear it? I seriously have to because I don't have any pairs and I'm going to be on a newspaper picture tommorow and I don't want to wear my glasses.
If I keep it in solution for the whole day, will it work again?

As long as it's not cracked, it'll work again.
It should soften up. If possible, call your eye doctor to make sure it's okay. I've done that before though and soaking in solution does make it soft again...depends on the brand though.

I wouldn't risk it. You could seriously hurt your eyes if you left them our in the open, bacteria, viruses and all that jazz. If they were in the solution you should be fine. But if you are getting your picture taken just take off your glasses during the pic. Many people would understand.

I wouldn't wear them. They're probably ruined. Wear your glasses throughout the day, but take them off for the photo.
You can TRY wearing the contacts, but there's a chance that you can get an eye infection(like pinkeye!)/ irritated eyes.
And your contacts (from all the stuff they've been through) just might rip in your eyes. It's happened to me before after I "abused" them a little. It scared me so much after they burst in my eyes and I had to scrape out the little pieces with my pinky that I haven't worn contacts for a while.

LET ME ASK U A VERY EASY QUESTION:
Would you rather take a picture in the newspaper w/ those contacts in your eyes so that u can see where the camera is when the photographer says "CHEESE!", or risk your health by putting messed up contact lenses in your eyes that could seriously damage them?
it's really up to you....
Honestly, if ur vision is that bad, u should get a frigging seeing eye dog, otherwise, u will be fine w/o them for a day or two.
just ask someone to direct u when u need help.
yea..ive done it b4...actually where i lost it for 2 days..just let it soak over night and clean it w them drops and u will b good

noooo dont , i done that before i lost them for only 7 hour left them in solution for 2 days and put them in and omg ! it stung me to death it was actually so sore and i couldnt open my eye ofr ages .,. but mine are monthly disposable .... what ones do you have ?
