I need help with contacts?!

Question: i have some contacts but i ran out of soultion for them so for today i let them sit in water from the sink, and tomorrow will be the second day they've been in water. they seem flimsy they wont stay unfolded, are they ruined or is it just because i need to put them in some solution. i can get some solution tomorrow, should i let them sit in water or leave them out?

It is not recommended to leave them in water. I did that once and I got an eye infection. You should just throw them away. I know contacts are expensive but its better than getting an eye infection. Please throw them away and get some new ones.

umm water will dry out your contacts.. you might as well just buy new contacts now.. they'll probably be ruined.

ur not suppossed to put them in water. they are pretty much ruined. U should have put them in eye drop fluid

i did that at sleepovers when i forgot my solution
i let them sit in my eyes (which is completly unhealthy) and then the next day i put them in water.
Yea they got super flimsy, and ended up ripping in two pieces a couple hours later, when i was rubbing my eye lol

water leaves calcium on the lenses, your gonna need a new pair or risk an eye infection.

dont leave them out... once they dry out you might as well throw them out... they can rip and tear
