Your right eye is just not seeing as clearly as the left eye. When you have both of your eyes open it is usually clearer than when you only have only one of your eyes open. Your brain takes the images from both eyes and (in your case) will use the images from your left eye to help clear up the images from your right eye. This is very common and occurs with almost everyone. If the vision in your right eye alone is very blurry or you have any concerns get your eyes checked by an eye doctor.

Get checked for a cataract.

This means that you don't have 20/20 vision in your left eye.

It's probably minor, but get an eye exam to make sure you don't need correction lenses for driving or your daily activities.

the problem seems to be ur left eye dominant. Aswell it seems as though that you have better vision in your left eye rather than your right. I would say that when you get older you will need to get glasses because of this because since you're left eye is doing more work than your right eye both eyes will be weaker, unless you go to an optician and get an eye test done then there is no cure, you could possibly eventually get lazer eye surgery on right eye but if it is not bad it's not worth it. I suggest that you go for an eye exam though to rule out anything else.

good luck

It could just be that you have an astigmatism. It just means that instead of your eye being shaped like a sphere it is shaped like a football . It is very common but it will get worse as time goes on if you do not get glasses soon !!!

Could be an astimatism, which means you don't have 20/20 vision. Just check with your doctor, he an answer you questions.

You see well with both eyes open b/c your left eye is compensating for your right eye. Was this blurriness sudden or has it been that way for a long time?
It could just indicate a refractive error that glasses or contacts could correct or it could be the beginnings of a cataract.
I would see a local eye doc to examine your eyes to rule out anything strange.

Go have an exam. It is not uncommon for people to have correction in one eye and not the other. Eyeglasses will give you better binocular vision for driving, etc. You could also get fit for one contact lens if you want to avoid glasses. See what you need first and then go from there.
