20/400 prescription?!

Question: My eyes are 20/400 and 20/800... what would be the prescription for my glasses? I don't need the cylindrical or axis correction, but my doctor never gave me a number to buy glasses with either......

Unfortunately that information cannot be accurately given. Call the office and ask them if they have a prescription on file, perhaps they forgot to give you a copy? With that type of visual acuity uncorrected, you definitely should be wearing glasses. Otherwise, see another doctor.
