I had my eye exam and contact fitting at a Wal-Mart Vision Center. I don't have vision insurance, and my total was only $91. That included the exam/fitting, a trial pair of contacts to wear for 2 weeks, a starter kit with solution and contact case, and my prescription so that I can order my contacts anywhere online, or at any eye doctor's office. I prefer to order my contacts online from 1800contacts.com, because they're much cheaper there than at my eye doctor's office, and they have fast shipping too.

The prices on eye exams do vary from store to store, because the eye doctors rent that space in Wal-Mart, and make their own prices. But they are always cheaper than an eye doctor that has their own building, and all the fees that go along with that.

I had a great experience with my exam at the Wal-Mart Vision Center, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality eye exam with a great price.

It costs about $80 bucks depending on what contacts you get or what optical place you go to. Now you can get a pack of contacts for like $13 bucks that will last you for a month. You'll probably get trial lenses firts. Remember that you need an up-to-date eye exam within a year before you can get a contact fitting. Eye exams cost about the same amount as a contact fitting. Also, plan ahead and get your exam right away because it may take a few days to get comfortable wearing your contacts for a long period of time.

like 65 dollars. contacts are 120. but in asian countries, it's so much cheaper. tats y i get mine in singapore ahaha. 20 bucks and works like a charm

Usually an exam without insurance costs anywhere from 30-70 dollars. Call around because every place charges differently. If you've had an eye exam already this year from the place you are going, usually its free.
