I just got contacts two days ago and i have a question.?!

Question: When i have the contacts in sometimes my vision will get a little blurry only for a second or two and then it will go back to normal. Is this because my eyes are still trying to get used to haveing the lense in?

Yes, your eyes are probably still adjusting to wearing contacts. Getting fully adjusted can take up to two weeks for some people. You may also be experiencing some dryness. You can get eye drops that are made for use while wearing contacts, and they will help add some extra moisture to your eyes. Just be sure that the label or box states that they are safe for use while wearing contacts. I like AMO Complete MoisturePlus drops, and CibaVision Aquify drops. Most eye drops that are made for use with contacts can be used as often as needed.

If your eyes are still dry after the 2 week adjustment period, you may want to speak with your eye doctor about changing to a moisture-retaining contact solution, or maybe even contacts that help retain moisture.

Yes and you are experiencing some slight dryness. Try using a rewetting drop like optive, or blink and use that until your eyes get more used to making more moisture.

The contacts since they are a prescription, have a right way and a wrong way to sit on your eye. If it floats out of position, it may make things blurry until it floats back. Also dry eyes can cause some blurriness.

This happened to me a lot when I first got my contacts. My eye doctor told me it was either because I wasn't used to them yet or I needed a stronger prescription. He boosted my lenses to be stronger and I no longer have that problem.

Yes, your tear layer is changing to accomodate for the lenses in your eyes. It is completely normal.
