Is there anything that can help with floaters?!

Question: I get them all the time. They're multiple in both eyes, and very distracting and annoying, sometimes even making it hard for me to do things like drive.

Possibly, depending on what is causing your floaters, but nothing will eliminate all of them. You might want to go to an eye doctor and ask about your concern. There are laser treatments to reduce them and eye drops to sometimes mask it. Sometimes floaters can be a sign or retinal detachment, so you definitely want to have your eyes checked. Other than that most people just have to live with them.

Floaters means that you have microscopic bleeding of the retina. You need to eliminate the cause of the bleeding, then the floaters will absorb gradually in about six weeks.

In my case the bleeding was caused by steam baths and hot tubs; sauna seems to be okay.

A well balanced nutritional program is the foundation for protecting your eyesight.

I have found a family of nutritional products that I know gives me the best chance for longevity and health. Email me if you would like particulars.

Living a long and healthy life.

Everyone has floaters. They're inside your eyes, and have been there since day one.

In most cases, they're harmless. But if they seem excessive and very bothersome, it could be signaling a problem. See an ophthalmologist and get a thorough eye exam.

I have them aswell very anoying :(

Have you told your Optician?

It is very important to report floaters to an Optician/Ophthalmologist especialy a sudden increase in the number of floaters.

Do you get any flashes of light in your vision aswell? If you do this could lead to other problems like retinal tears and detachements so it must be ruled out by an ophthalmologist.

With time you will get used to them there is no real cure.

Floaters could be one of two things. In most folks, it is just proteins in the viscous jelly inside the eye. Nothing to be worried about.

If you see a lot of them, head to the Dr. as this can be a sign of something called Retinal Detachment.

Otherwise they are perfectly normal.
