Glasses give me headaches?!

Question: I've had my glasses for the last year, year and a half and I've never had a problem with them, they're the long black glasses and they're made of metal.
If I don't wear them, I'm fine, but if I put them on they start to hurt my eyes, and for hours after I've taken them off they don't stop hurting, and the area around my eyes starts to hurt as well. Is my prescription going bad? I just want to know whats going on and what i can do to fix them. I love these glasses and I've never had a problem before, but this is recently within the month starting up.

you should go back and get your eyes tested again. You may need a stronger/weaker prescription depending on whether your eyesight has improved or deteriated.
If you really like your glasses, most opticians offer the service wen u can put you new prescription into an old frame, so you will be able to keep your glasses.

That happened to me recently and I went back in for another eye exam- it was before my year was up, but good thing I did because my prescription had changed, I got new lenses with the same frame and my headaches went away!

Just go in and get your eyes checked and if there's a change ask your doctor if it's worthwhile to get a new prescription.

sounds like u need a stronger prescription. see an eye doc soon.

It is not uncommon for your eyes to change in 12- 18 months. It would be worth your while to schedule an eye exam.
