Should I buy G-15 or polarized lenses?!

Question: G-15 is the traditional green tint that ray-ban used years and years ago. It is excellent but not the best for color retention. I believe it is available in a polarized lens.
Polarization is available in a variety of colors, depending on your primary tasks you may prefer a gray lens or brown. Gray is neutral density for all colors so you will maintain best color rendition. For example, if you enjoy birdwatching or gardening and want to see the colors the best, gray is preferred. Brown has a contrast enhancing effect making it popular for driving and for some golfers.
Caution: Polarization can make it harder to see your LCD on your cell phone, car display or watch. LCD screens use a polarized filter inside that can can interfere with the performance of your lenses.

I have both. A brown non polarized and a gray polarized pair of glasses.

If you will be using for sports... use polycarbonate or trivex lenses for shatter resistance. They also have excellent UV protection.

if u are into water sports, skiing, fishing or driving then yes.
because polarized lens can reduce the glare and reflection from water, ice and windscreens of other vehicles

It depends somewhat on the use you would have for your sunglasses. If you are on or around water a lot in the summer, then polarized would be better

Polarized lenses eliminate reflected glare, whereas the G-15 will just tone it down.

But personally , I prefer the G-15.
Polarized lenses make rear windows of the car you are following look very strange, and that bugs me.
Also, some digital displays aren't visible with a polarized lens either. Like if you use a GPS unit, you have to take the glasses off. The same with some cell phones too I hear.
In my car, I can't see any of the digital info that is displayed on the dashboard with a polarized lens , but is no problem with the G-15.

Hopefully, you can get a sample of each type of lens and go look around outside with both , before having to buy them.

Polarized lenses will cut refelcted glare in the horizontal plane, much much better!
