How much do contacts usually run for?!

Question: It depends on the type of contacts you wear. 1-800contacts and CostCo are great places for inexpensive general contacts. Unfortunately the kind I use are only available at the eye doctor (few wear them) and run $50 a box of six but with good care that last me a year.

BTW it is not just the cost of the contacts, it is the fluid, etc., that totalls up.

Without insurance, anywhere from 200-120$. With insurance, probably varies greatly. Personally, my insurance just takes 100$ off the total cost.

It depends on what your prescription is. Even if you don't need corrective vision (some want colored contacts for cosmetic reasons), you have to get an Optometrist to examine you. Log on to one of the on line contact lens retailers to get an idea about pricing.
